 Marie Jo Atkins Finds Her Niche
From Rookie of the Year to Number One Agent in 10 Short Years
Marie Jo Atkins first taste of the real estate business began with her own home.
Like many homeowners in the 1990's, she had a desire to sell her home, but knew it did not have a lot of equity. She placed it in the market as a "FSBO."
For a month, she marketed her home by creating and placing ads, distributing flyers and holding open houses. Eventually, after just about a month on the market, Marie Jo listed her home with an agent.
That first experience was enough to wet Marie Jo's appetite.
She had found her niche. She soon joined the profession
and has thrived at it for over "12 years." Her
first year in the business earned her Rookie of the Year.
Marie Jo continued to be honored with numerous awards
through the years and has been the No. 1 Prudential Agent
since 2003 for the North County Inland area for Sales
Volume. She had also
been among the top Prudential California Realty agents
since 1998.
Concentrating on the I-15 corridor, her Prudential office in Rancho Bernardo serves the North County inland communities of Poway and Rancho Bernardo, along with the coastal enclaves of Rancho Santa Fe,
Sante Fe Valley, Del Mar and La Jolla.
